I love making crafts out of random and everyday things. We had chinese food the other night and we had some chopsticks left over so we decided to turn them into Santa's(very skinny Santas!)
You will need:
Chopsticks (don't pull apart)
red marker or paint
black marker or paint
cotton ball
small pieces of red, white, yellow &black paper
Pipe cleaner or string
1. Color or paint the chopsticks red, except the very bottom make black for Santa's boots.
2.cut a circle out of white paper for Santa's face, draw eyes, nose & mouth then glue it on the top of the chopsticks.
3. cut a hat out of red paper and glue it on the face.
4. Use pieces of the cotton ball to make a beard and add fluff to Santa's hat.
5. Cut a belt out of black paper and a buckle out of yellow paper. Glue on Santa.
6. Glue a piece of string or a pipe cleaner to the back at the top so you can hang your Santa on your tree.
*You could glue pipe cleaners onto the sides of Santa for his arms. And don't worry about making him look perfect he is cute no matter what!
