I followed you over from Ruth's blog. We have a mail box that provided hours of amusement for my two kids (ages 6 and 3) last night.
Ours also has a small box made out of felt that you can put items in. We also have a mailbox that you can raise and lower the flag.
I'm sure your son will love it.
