Hanging Hearts

Warning: this project is really easy but it is hard to explain so bare with me!

You will need:
Paper (red, pink, white)
Paper cutter/scissors
Stapler
Paper Clip
Glue


1. Cut paper into 1" thick strips (3 white, 2 red, 2 pink) and then...
White: cut one strip 12" long and cut two strips 8" long
Pink: cute two strips 10" long
Red: cut two strips 12" long

2. Stack the strips of paper. The long white one should be in the middle, then place a red on each side of the white and then a pink on both sides of the red and finally the small white ones on the outside. (Should be tallest in the middle and smallest on the outside.) STAPLE at bottom.

3. Starting with the outside white strips fold them down and glue them the stapled end...it should resemble a heart! Continue doing this with the pink and red strips. The long white strip will not be glued.

4. Put a paperclip on the end until the glue dries and then hang up by the long white strip and you have a fun Valentines decoration.

*you can also make the strips longer and do more colors...maybe a rainbow heart!
